Privacy Policy

Summary

Trendify Video turns a photo you upload into a short video based on a trend template. To do that we need your account details, the photo, and the video we generate for you. We do not sell your data. This page explains, in plain language, what we keep and how to ask us to remove it.

What we collect

1. Account details — your email address and name, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google or GitHub.
2. Photos you upload — the selfie (or other photo) you upload to make a video.
3. Videos we generate — the finished videos and the details of each request (which template, status, credits used, time).
4. Payments — order, subscription and credit records. Card and bank details are entered on the payment provider's page (for example Stripe); we do not receive or store full card numbers.
5. Support tickets — the messages and attachments you send us.
6. Technical and usage data — basic logs, device and browser information, and, when enabled, analytics such as page views and sign-up source. We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as language and theme.

How your photos are handled

• Uploaded photos are stored in a private storage bucket that is not publicly accessible.
• To generate a video, we send the photo to our AI video provider through a temporary link that expires after about an hour. The photo is used only to make the video you asked for.
• We delete uploaded photos when you ask: open a support ticket and we will remove them. Automatic deletion after a fixed period is not active yet; we will update this policy when it is.
• We do not use your photos to train AI models. Our video provider processes them under its own terms to generate your video.

How your videos are handled

Finished videos are saved in private storage and shown to you through temporary links in My remakes. They are kept so you can download them again later. You can ask us to delete any of them through a support ticket.

How we use your information

• To run the service: sign-in, generating videos, keeping your credit balance, and delivering downloads.
• To process payments, subscriptions and refunds.
• To answer support tickets and send service emails (for example sign-in or payment emails).
• To keep the service safe: preventing fraud, abuse and misuse of other people's photos.
• To understand and improve the product, using aggregated usage data.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers we need to run Trendify Video, and only for that purpose:

• AI video provider — receives your photo through a temporary link and returns the generated video.
• Cloud hosting and storage (Cloudflare) — hosts the site and stores photos and videos.
• Payment providers (for example Stripe) — process payments and subscriptions.
• Sign-in providers (Google, GitHub) — only if you choose to sign in with them.
• Email providers — to send service emails.
• Analytics and advertising measurement, when enabled:
  • Plausible (self-hosted) — cookieless page-view statistics.
  • Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session recordings) and the Meta Pixel (measuring Facebook/Instagram ads) — used only after you accept cookies in the cookie banner, and never on account, admin or sign-in pages. You can change that choice at any time with "Cookie Settings" in the footer; rejecting reloads the page without them.
  • Clarity records only public pages, and only while you are signed out; areas that show photos or videos are masked. The Meta Pixel only receives views of public pages. None of these tools receive your photos, your videos or their links, your email address, or sign-in and password-reset codes.
  • The campaign source of your first visit (UTM tags and the referring site) is kept in a cookie for 30 days, so we can see which campaigns bring sign-ups. This cookie is also set only after you accept, and removed when you reject.

We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect our users, the public, or the service.

Your choices and requests

There is currently no self-service export or account deletion in settings. You can:

• Update your name and profile in Settings → Profile.
• Cancel a subscription in Settings → Billing.
• Ask us to delete your photos, videos, or your whole account, or to send you a copy of your data, by opening a support ticket. We will confirm when it is done.

Some records, such as payment and tax records, may need to be kept for longer where the law requires it.

Photos of other people and takedown requests

You may only upload photos of yourself, or of people who gave you permission, and everyone in the photo must be 18 or older. If you believe a video on Trendify Video uses your likeness or your content without permission, open a support ticket with the details and we will review it and remove the content where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
